Appointments, Payments, General Info

Can I get a price for work over the phone?

Unfortunately, we can not provide bids over the phone. Every home is different, so giving prices over the phone is not a good way to generate an accurate bid estimate. Good news though, all of our plumbing bid estimates are free.

Can I schedule a weekend appointment?

Bowers Plumbing & Remodel, LLC. is not usually open on the weekends. Our techs work hard all week so we like to reserve the weekends for their family. That being said, we know plumbing issues do not just happen during the normal five day work week. We also know how hard it can be to schedule an appointment when customers work a 9-5 job. If this is the case, just ask the office. We are always happy to work with our customers to get your plumbing needs taken care of.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Bowers Plumbing & Remodel, LLC accepts checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and, of course, cash!

What is your geographical service area?

Although our office is located in Puyallup, we serve all of Pierce County, Thurston County, King County and the surrounding areas. 

What discounts do you offer?

We offer year-round discounts to all Police, Firefighters, EMT, Teachers, First Responders, and District Employees. Thank you so much for all that you do!!! Also, if you are a senior citizen, veteran, or first time customer you will always get 10% off.

Why is it important that I use a licensed plumbing company?

You wouldn’t go to a doctor that wasn’t a “real” doctor, would you? At Bowers Plumbing & Remodel LLC, we are serious about our commitment to providing quality service while upholding all plumbing codes in the State of Washington. We are licensed, bonded, and insured. Lic # BOWERPL854MA

How much is a plumbing bid estimate? Is it free?

All plumbing bids are free unless our techs have to go within the crawl space or open a wall. At that time you will be charged an access fee. All of our costs are always told to our customers before we provide any work. That way everyone is on the same page.

What if I do not agree with the bid estimate I am given?

If you believe your bid is too high, feel free to talk to your tech or the office. Bowers Plumbing & Remodel, LLC. never wants our customers to feel like they are being taken advantage of. Sometimes a scope of work that may seem simple, can actually be quite time-consuming. Feel free to give us a call and we can walk you through your entire bid estimate.

Do you offer warranties?

We offer a range of warranties depending on the product that you have installed. Contact our office today to find out more.

Remodel & Renovation

Do you offer Free Estimates for Remodel work

For smaller remodel work we do offer free estimates. For larger, multi-room remodel estimates with significant changes, we charge a small fee that is deducted from your start-of-work deposit. The reason for the small fee is to cover our time to prepare a broken out, detailed estimate.

Do you work directly with the Insurance company?

Yes. The insurance company may have a contractor they recommend, however, they have the best interest of the insurance company in mind. The saying “You get what you pay for” is very true when it comes to the quality of work performed. When you work with Bowers Plumbing & Remodel, LLC, we work for you, the homeowner, and we have your best interest in mind. We take pride in our work and provide you with the highest skilled labor possible.

Do you offer design for new additions or remodeling projects?

No, at this time we do not offer design. However, we do work directly with the designer to make sure your vision is met.

Can you handle all aspects of the project from beginning to end?

Absolutely! We handle each step of your project. If our team is not directly doing portions of the work, it is performed by a well-vetted, well-trusted vendor.

Do you protect areas of the home that are not being worked on? I’m worried about damage.

We care about keeping your home protected and safe. Our team lays down floor protection, barriers, and dust zones. For larger projects, we also schedule a cleaning service appointment for when we are finished.

How will I know what’s going on with my remodel project? Do you provide updates and progress schedules?

Communication matters. You can expect to receive daily updates of who will be there, what they are doing, and when to expect them. We will communicate in the best way for you, whether that is by text, phone, email, or a combination of the three.

Do I have one person of contact that will manage my project?

We understand the need to have one person who knows all about your project. Your estimator is also your project manager. He or she will follow your home project through completion.
